Actuarial Trainee – UAE National

We are looking to hire an ‘Actuarial Trainee (UAE National)’ for one of our insurance clients based in Dubai.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• A bachelor’s degree in mathematics.
• Currently pursuing qualification as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (or equivalent).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with a strong command of Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Prophet modelling Software.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate in creating valuations, adhering to established timelines and legal requirements.
• Assist in generating internal reports and conducting investigations within agreed upon deadlines and methodologies.
• Verify the functionality of data extraction processes and Prophet models in accordance with actuarial specifications.
• Secure appropriate approvals for modifications to data extraction processes and Prophet models.
• Maintain and update procedure manuals.
• Ensure that illustration systems align with actuarial specifications.
• Assess and implement changes to illustration systems.
