We are hiring a ‘Assistant Motor Underwriting’ for one of our Insurance clients in their Abu Dhabi Office.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience is required
  • Bachelors degree

Job Responsibilities:

  • Good knowledge of operational systems, work-flow processes, and policies in support of client service expectations, continuous improvement, and overall efficiency.
  • Expert knowledge in the use of the Policy Administration system (Premia) for all policy transactions to effectively drive accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Expert knowledge of unified policy wording and all relevant policy clauses for individual and commercial motor.
  • A full understanding on reinsurance products and involvement in our operations specifically those available to existing motor treaties, as well as the necessary process for facultative cession.
  • An expert knowledge of restrictions in our underwriting guidelines.
  • Expert knowledge of the broker distribution channel, the various tools utilized by the broker and the process interaction between insurer and broker.
