Commercial Lines Officer – General Insurance

𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘
As a Commercial Lines Officer – General Lines, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and providing exceptional service for commercial insurance clients. With in-depth knowledge of commercial lines products, you will support financial advisors in acquiring and retaining clients, acting as the primary point of contact between the insurance company and designated accounts. This role requires a strong background in handling various commercial insurance needs and a focus on ensuring client satisfaction.

𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒, 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒 & 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄:
1. Minimum 3 years of experience in UAE commercial insurance underwriting, coverage, and rate analysis.
2. In-depth knowledge of insurance coverages.
3. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and underwriters.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
5. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and support the team.
6. Strong negotiation skills & proficiency in Microsoft Office.

𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒
1. Analyze new business requests from direct clients and consultants.
2. Obtain quotes through all available channels.
3. Prepare comprehensive quotes and proposals.
4. Manage the binding of coverage.
5. Ensure timely completion of the quote-to-issuance process within agreed SLAs.
6. Track and address any missed SLAs.
7. Oversee endorsement activities.
8. Manage the entire renewal process from start to finish.
9. Collaborate with the Head of General Insurance and consultants on strategic account issues and challenges.
10. Utilize workflows to maintain client contact, update coverages, review exposures, and identify account management opportunities.
11. Maintain accurate record keeping and case management.
12. Provide regular reports on relevant business activities.
13. Ensure adherence to underwriting (UW), compliance, and departmental guidelines.
14. Follow company SOPs.
