𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘
As a Health Actuary, you will be responsible for health consulting assignments across the GCC and wider MENA region. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for the health practice, business development as well as service delivery, and leading a team of enthusiastic actuarial analysts.
𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒
- A bachelors’ degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics
- Qualified Fellow actuary from a recognized international actuarial body like SOA, IFOA, etc.
- Knowledge of Tools such as MS Office, Python, R, etc and/or any other data analytical tools
𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒
- Minimum of 10 years of actuarial experience, with a focus on health insurance related work
- Strong analytical skills, to read stories from numbers.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge and practical experience of health insurance pricing and health care models
- Knowledge and practical experience of health insurance reserving
- Consulting work will require the ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and balance client and team expectations
- Ability to make independent decisions and lead delivery of projects
- Job includes traveling across the GCC and Africa.
𝐊𝐄𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒:
- To lead and manage the overall health insurance consulting actuarial practice.
- Business Development for the health consulting segment, create new leads, follow up existing leads and develop a pipeline.
- Supervise the work done by the team with respect to quantified analytics for health insurance portfolios.
- Present the work output to end users in the form of visual presentations.
- Responsible for overall project management and client management
