As a Medical Operations Officer professional responsible for both new business and renewals placement, the role entails overseeing daily operations and endorsement processing while ensuring compliance with prevailing regulations, also manage system requirements and developments, maintaining communication channels with clients, brokers, and TPAs. Additionally, prepare and process policies, endorsements, and accounting documents, alongside maintaining physical and electronic files for regulatory audit and record-keeping purposes, ensuring efficient and transparent operations within the organization.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance or Business Administration is the minimum academic requirement.
2. Possession of insurance-related certifications and licenses mandated by UAE regulations is necessary.
3. A minimum of five years’ experience specifically in medical insurance within the UAE market is required.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Advanced Excel and analytical software, is essential.

1. Issue policies, process daily requests, and manage relevant accounting documents and endorsements on the system, maintaining an organized filing and archiving system consistently.
2. Coordinate with TPAs to ensure data consistency between their records and company data registered in the system.
3. Address client/broker inquiries, providing updates on regulatory requirements, policy coverage, terms, and conditions.
4. Generate reports from both TPA and internal systems, including loss ratio reports, renewal offers, and regulatory reporting data.
5. Perform regulatory uploads, obtain necessary product approvals, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in day-to-day processing and across assigned portfolios.
6. Ensure prompt transaction processing and follow-up on premium collections.
7. Prepare various certificates as required.
8. Stay updated on U.A.E. health insurance regulations and communicate relevant updates to partners and clients.
9. Manage operations for major clients and conduct corporate presentations.
