Our client is currently seeking an “Underwriter – Property & Casualty” to join their Abu Dhabi office.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in Property & Casualty lines.
  • Proficiency in underwriting, quoting, and binding business.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Underwriter and Line of Business (LOB) head at the Head Office on various activities, including:
  • Preparation of quotes.
  • Generating policy, endorsement, and financial documents.
  • Sending renewal reminders and following up on renewals.
  • Ensuring accuracy in documentation issuance.
  • Maintaining proper file backup for each risk and transaction handled.
  • Liaise effectively with insurance brokers and customers.
  • Foster internal coordination within the Underwriting, Claims, and Reinsurance teams.
  • Gather background information and conduct risk assessments.
