As a Reinsurance Accountant, you will handle the accounting and reconciliation of reinsurance premiums, claims, and commissions, ensuring compliance with agreements and regulatory standards while delivering accurate and timely financial reports.

ππ”π€π‹πˆπ…πˆπ‚π€π“πˆπŽππ’, π’πŠπˆπ‹π‹π’ & π„π—ππ„π‘πˆπ„ππ‚π„:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Accounting experience (insurance or financial services preferred).
3. Good work ethic and written and verbal communication skills.
4. Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency

π‰πŽπ π‘π„π’ππŽππ’πˆππˆπ‹πˆπ“πˆπ„π’:
1. Prepare and maintain reinsurance accounting records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
2. Process reinsurance transactions including premiums, claims, commissions, and recoveries.
3. Reconcile reinsurance accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
4. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reinsurance statements and reports.
5. Liaise with internal departments, brokers, and reinsurers to ensure accurate data and smooth transaction processing.
6. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, audits, and regulatory filings related to reinsurance.
7. Monitor treaty and facultative reinsurance contracts to ensure accurate application of terms and conditions.
