The Compliance Officer oversees regulatory adherence, risk management, and policy compliance, ensuring ethical operations and alignment with insurance regulations.

Bachelorβs degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification in Compliance (e.g., CAMS, ACAMS, or equivalent) preferred
UAE Insurance Authority certification required
Minimum 3β5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in the local regulatory environment
Strong knowledge of Insurance Authority regulations, compliance frameworks, and reporting requirements.

Monitor evolving insurance regulations and Insurance Authority directives, ensuring timely implementation across all departments.
Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures to reflect current regulations and operational needs.
Conduct compliance risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
Create and deliver engaging training sessions to enhance staff awareness of compliance responsibilities.
Perform regular internal compliance audits, monitor adherence to policies, and provide detailed reports with improvement recommendations.
Prepare and submit accurate, timely reports to the local Insurance Authority and other relevant entities.
Investigate potential breaches, implement corrective measures, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Act as the main liaison with regulatory bodies, auditors, and consultants, fostering transparent and professional relationships.
Partner with Legal, Risk, and Operations teams to integrate compliance requirements into core business activities.
Continuously enhance compliance systems, adopting best practices and supporting the organizationβs governance framework.”
