Account Executive Manager – Reinsurance

One of our reinsurance client, is looking to hire an ‘Account Executive Manager’ to be based in their Dubai office.

The ideal candidate will possess about 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical role within the reinsurance broker industry.

Below additional requirements would also be a must:

• Technical expertise and knowledge of the reinsurance specifics and commercial lines of business (experience in Specialty lines of business – financial lines, casualty, and marine – are preferred)
• Uncompromised focuses on technical accuracy and high quality of produced documents, data keying tasks, and management reports.
• Excellent organizational skills, with a strong sense of personal ownership and independent delivery to set timelines.
• Willingness to mentor and train team members on various technical and general business topics.

Key responsibilities would include the below (but not limited to):

• Manage submission management system including the entire lifecycle of new accounts, renewals, and their corresponding endorsements.
• Draft the reinsurance quotation and placement documents accurately and to the high-quality standard, implement the slip management process in the system.
• Develop and implement the technical quality management process in relation to all facultative reinsurance documents including verifying the completeness and content of each slip before releasing to the market.
• Ensure that the reinsurance documents are signed by participating reinsurers in a proper manner and accepted by the customer on a timely basis. Proactively manage and rectify any deviations identified.
• Monitor and follow-up on the provision of the Reinsurance slips’ subjectivities, conditions and warranties through the respective tracker.
• Provide technical expertise, guidance and training on various commercial lines of business and reinsurance specifics to the team members. Handle all technical queries internally as well as externally.
• Organize the claims handling process and support receivables collection and compliance activities within the company.
• Demonstrate the technical expertise and high working standard of the company when meeting externally.
• Support the business development activities for Specialty lines of business, under guidance of the Business Development Executive, when required.
