As a Junior Accountant, you will assist with financial record-keeping, reporting, and reconciliations. The role requires accuracy, proficiency in accounting tools, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
2. 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in insurance or financial services, though not mandatory
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
4. Familiarity with insurance terminology and processes is a plus
5. High accuracy and strong attention to detail
6. Adaptable and eager to learn in a dynamic environment

π‰πŽπ π‘π„π’ππŽππ’πˆππˆπ‹πˆπ“πˆπ„π’:
1. Record Financial Transactions: Accurately log daily financial activities, including premiums, claims, and commissions.
2. Manage General Ledger & Reconciliations: Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, and conduct regular bank reconciliations.
3. Process Accounts Payable & Receivable: Support efficient processing of invoices and receipts for timely payments and collections.
4. Aid in Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
5. Reconcile System Data: Perform reconciliations between policy administration systems and core financial systems.
6. Organize Financial Documentation: Maintain an organized filing system for all financial and insurance-related documents.
7. Support Audits: Provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors during internal and external audits.
8. Ensure Compliance: Uphold adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant regulatory standards.
