As a Medical Manager, you will lead underwriting and claims operations, ensuring compliance and service quality through TPAs. You’ll manage policy issuance, claims, and premium processes, develop a high-performing team, and collaborate with the Production department to drive growth. The role also involves maintaining strong healthcare provider relationships, conducting market analysis, supporting financial follow-ups, and delivering data-driven insights to senior management.

6β9 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar environment, with at least 4β5 years in a managerial role.
University graduate with a professional certification/membership in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Underwriting & Claims Management:
Ensure smooth underwriting and claims handling procedures through TPAs.
Supervise and develop departmental staff for optimal performance.
Verify policy and claims documentation for accuracy, validity, and genuineness.
Ensure timely issuance of policies, renewals, endorsements, and claims settlements.
Client & Business Development:
Assist the Production team in acquiring new business and servicing existing clients efficiently.
Prepare and negotiate quotations, policy terms, and conditions as needed.
Address client inquiries regarding claims, underwriting, and other policy matters.
Operational & Financial Oversight:
Maintain premium registers and summaries of gross/outstanding claims.
Assist the Finance/Production team in follow-ups on receivables, especially overdue payments.
Sign policies, claims, quotations, reinsurance correspondence, and other documents within authority limits.
Medical Network & Service Coordination:
Liaise with doctors, pharmacies, and medical network providers to ensure efficient customer service.
Strategic & Market Analysis:
Conduct market studies, monitor competitive threats, and provide strategic insights to management.
Assist in budget preparation and generate MIS reports, statistics, and analyses as required.
