Recovery Manager – Motor Claims

𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘
As a Recovery Manager – Motor Claims, you will lead the full recovery process, ensuring efficient claims handling and maximizing financial recoveries from third parties and insurers. This role involves managing a recovery team, coordinating with legal and internal stakeholders, overseeing documentation and legal actions, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will also focus on performance metrics and process improvements to drive operational excellence and support the company’s financial goals.

𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒, 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒 & 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Law, or a related field.
2. 7 to 10 years of relevant experience.
3. Strong knowledge of UAE motor insurance practices, recovery laws, and Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) regulations.

𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒:
1. Supervise daily operations of the recovery section, assign tasks, and provide support to the recovery team.
2. Maximize recovery of claim amounts from liable third parties and insurers while minimizing legal costs.
3. Follow up on total loss notifications, salvage claims, and benefit-of-use compensation cases.
4. Coordinate with the Legal Department to initiate lawsuits or arbitration proceedings when amicable settlements fail.
5. Maintain detailed recovery documentation, including correspondence, legal actions, and settlements.
6. Prepare and submit regular performance reports and recovery progress updates to senior management.
7. Ensure compliance with insurance laws and Central Bank (CBUAE) regulations.
8. Support the training and development of recovery staff to enhance operational effectiveness.
