As a Risk Engineer, you will evaluate risks, conduct site assessments, and support underwriting by providing technical insights. You will develop risk mitigation strategies, analyze loss data, assist in claims investigations, and collaborate with clients to enhance safety and compliance.

1. Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in risk engineering within the insurance industry.
3. Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, risk analysis, and loss prevention.
4. Experience in property, fire, construction, and liability risk assessments.

1. Conduct detailed risk evaluations of commercial and industrial properties, operations, and engineering projects.
2. Identify potential hazards, vulnerabilities, and exposures that could lead to losses.
3. Prepare survey reports as per insurance industry standards for reinsurers.
4. Visit client sites to assess risk factors, including fire safety, structural integrity, environmental impacts, and operational practices.
5. Provide detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
6. Collaborate with underwriters to offer technical advice and clarify risk-related factors for reinsurers.
7. Develop and recommend strategies to mitigate risks and prevent potential losses.
8. Provide clients with training and guidance on safety standards, regulatory compliance, and risk management best practices.
9. Analyze historical loss data to identify trends and improve risk management strategies.
10. Create technical reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
11. Assist claims teams in investigating causes of losses, determining liability, and conducting claims surveys when required.
12. Build strong relationships with clients by offering value-added risk management services.
