One of our client is looking to hire Senior Manager – IT Application Management (Insurance)

Key Responsibilities:
– Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing strategic IT solutions. Ensure efficient service delivery and continuous improvement.
– Oversee planning, development, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning of IT applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
– Lead and manage a team of account managers, business analysts, and support staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
– Gather, analyze, and prioritize application requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications and development roadmaps.
– Collaborate with product teams and external software vendors to ensure application performance, timely updates, and seamless integration.
– Plan and manage budgets for application development, maintenance, and upgrades while optimizing costs.
– Implement QA processes, identify risks, and ensure compliance with security and performance standards.
– Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for high availability and efficiency.
– Ensure applications comply with industry security standards and best practices, mitigating vulnerabilities and protecting data integrity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
– Strong knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management and enterprise IT applications.
– Expertise in vendor and stakeholder management.
– Knowledge of the insurance domain (Life, Medical, General) is highly preferred.
– Proficiency in ITSM tools, ITIL frameworks, and application monitoring tools.
– Strong leadership, team management, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
– Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with insurance applications and enterprise IT solutions.
– Certifications in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) and ITIL Framework.
– Familiarity with cloud-based applications and DevOps methodologies.
